Do you have an air fryer yet? I have tried several, and this is my current favorite: Cosori Air Fryer Oven Pro II 5.8 QT. I’m such a huge fan and use mine several times a week. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and makes everything — like these Air Fryer Parmesan Potatoes — come out nice and crispy!
If you’re new to the air fryer, check out my Air Fryer 101 video. That explains everything you need to know: how to use the presets or set your own time and temp, how to clean it, and a bunch of tips for ensuring good results.
At our house, we love roasted potatoes. I used to make them in the oven on a baking sheet. That method works okay, but the potatoes often stick to the pan making clean up a real chore. With the air fryer, the inside drawer has a perforated nonstick coating, which allows the hot air to circulate around the potatoes, giving a crisp, golden exterior on every single inch.
For seasoning, we use olive oil, salt and pepper before cooking, and then sprinkle with herbs and parmesan after. If you want to take things up a notch, try adding a little garlic, smoked paprika, or (our personal favorite) truffle salt!
