These Peanut Butter Cookies are so easy! The most basic recipe just uses three ingredients (peanut butter, powdered sugar, and an egg) but I like to add chocolate chips and a splash of vanilla. With so few ingredients and just 10 minutes in the oven, these are one of our favorite treats!
For the peanut butter, I use a no-stir creamy brand like H-E-B or Jiff. You can mix in half crunchy if you like more texture. You could also sub in almond butter, but as almond butter can be drier than peanut butter, the cookies may be a bit dry. I haven’t tried cashew butter but it’s on my list!
Chocolate chips are optional. Use milk chocolate for extra sweetness, or dark chocolate for more depth. If you’re looking to reduce the sugar, try a brand like Lilly’s, sweetened with stevia. For a dairy-free option, try the Enjoy Life brand. And wouldn’t Mini M&M’s be so festive for a special occasion?
We hope you get to try these Peanut Butter Cookies! For some other easy cookies, try our Mexican Wedding Cookies, Citrus Shortbread Cutouts, Ted Lasso Biscuits, or Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies. Hope you enjoy them!

Hi Marie, I just found you on Instagram. I’m trying to print 2 of your recipes that I’d love to give them a try. When I click on download and print I’m having trouble. Is there another way to print your recipes?
Happy Baking,
Anna
Hi Anna! Thanks so much for your note and thanks for following along on Instagram! I apologize for the printing issues. I just uploaded a PDF for the cookies so you can print (just didn’t get to it this weekend when I posted the recipe). Can you let me know the other recipe you’re trying to print? I’ll get a PDF uploaded to that one, too. Sometimes I’m a little behind on getting the PDFs up so I appreciate the reminder 🙂 Please let me know if you need anything else. My goal is to make my website really user-friendly — with no long blog posts, no pop-ups and no ads! Easy to print recipes, too, of course! Thanks again for your feedback. Hugs, Marie
Thank you so much I was able to print the cookies and the valentines scones!! I’m very excited. Thanks again! I’ll be following on instagram.

Have you tried making these cookies with almond butter instead of peanut butter? Peanut allergy in the house!
Thanks
Hi Cat! I haven’t tried it yet but have been meaning to! If you try it let me know how it goes! I bet it would be delicious! Happy baking, Marie
