Brownies

Easy Cocoa Brownies

These Easy Cocoa Brownies are a cinch to make and always delicious! All you need is one bowl and a rubber spatula to whip these up. No beaters or double-boiler required!

The recipe is very flexible, too. You can include chocolate chips for extra decadence or chopped nuts for a little crunch. For a gluten free version, simply use your favorite gluten-free flour blend in place of the all-purpose flour.

Hope you get to try these Easy Cocoa Brownies! Also, if you’re looking for some other easy desserts, check out our Classic M&M’s Cookies, Mini Chocolate Tarts, or Easy Snickerdoodles. Happy baking!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8×8 non-stick baking pan with butter.
  2. Place butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Gently stir together the ingredients with a rubber spatula. Sift cocoa powder into the bowl with the wet ingredients. Then add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix just to combine. Add chocolate chips, if desired, and mix again.
  3. Spread batter into greased pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
