We made these mini chocolate tarts for a virtual cooking class recently and they were so much fun! With only four ingredients and a few simple steps, we were able to whip these up in less than ten minutes. And you can, too!
Start with four of these handy ready-made Keebler Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crusts. Then heat heavy cream and butter in a saucepan. Once that mixture is warm, remove the pan from the fire (this is key!) and add your favorite semi- or bittersweet chocolate. Stir with a rubber spatula until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is glossy and smooth. Then pour all that chocolate goodness into the crusts, smooth the tops and cool completely.
And that’s it! Now you can decorate with melted chocolate or colored candy melts, a drizzle of dulce de leche or your favorite sprinkles. Or, leave the tarts as they are and serve with whipped cream and fresh berries. Any way you serve them, these mini chocolate tarts are guaranteed delicious!
If you want to have a little fun with filings for the chocolate tarts, you can spread a scoop of peanut butter or Nutella into the crust before you add the chocolate. (YUM!) Or sprinkle in a few chopped walnuts and drizzle of caramel in the crust, add the chocolate and then top with flakey salt. (DOUBLE YUM!) Hope you enjoy these as much as we do!
