Air fryer salmon is the solution to all my salmon problems. Yes, I have salmon problems. I love salmon but don’t love cooking it on the stovetop. Grease gets everywhere and the scent of salmon saturates my clothes. The oven is not much better. I like my salmon a little crispy on the edges, and they just never seem to get there by baking.
Enter the Air Fryer. Simply slide the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, close that up, and you’re good to go. The convection heat in the air fryer circulates around the salmon to create a crisp, golden top. All the scents and spatter from cooking are contained in the basket, and if you have the right Air Fryer, that salmon cooks quietly in the corner while you throw together simple Lemon Dill Sauce and a side salad.
Air fryer salmon is delicious in fish tacos, on a berry and farro spinach salad, or alongside rice and roasted asparagus. Sometimes my kids roll it up with sushi rice, cucumber and avocado in a sheet of nori for homemade sushi rolls. Dipped in soy sauce and a little wasabi is, mmmm, delicious!
